The Director of the CSR, Aleksandar Nacev PhD, had a guest appearance in the TV program “Is something unclear” on ALFA TV, where he spoke about the current political, security and health situation in the Republic of Macedonia.

Delegation from the CSR, including the Director Aleksandar Nacev and the Deputy Director Jane Jancheski took part in the Warsaw Security Forum 2021, from 5-6th October 2021. During the Forum, the CSR representatives took active part in several discussions and panels, presenting their views. Also, several networking opportunities were used and the CSR was presented to potential foreign partners and institutions.

On 8th of July, the Center for Security Research held a public debate titled „The impact of mass marijuana production on the crime in the communities“, in the Culture Hall in the municipality of Novo Selo.

The main speakers in the debate were the Director of CSR, Aleksandar Nacev PhD, and the special advisor on counterterrorism in the CSR, Rabie Sedrak, and the event was moderated by Petar Markov MD. The speakers and the moderator talked about the issue if legal and illegal marijuana production and how it impacts the rise of crime in the communities, and how the profits of illegal drug trafficking are influencing the communities.

Today we held the workshop titled “The dangers of propaganda and disinformation in today’s world”. The event was organized in cooperation with the Sweden Alumni Network Western Balkans, and supported by the Swedish Institute.

The workshop brought together a significant number of participants, who took active part in the discussion, and who were representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations, other NGO’s, media, academia and representatives from other Swedish Alumni Networks, which gave the workshop an international signature.
