Rabie W. Sedrak, the special advisor for counterterrorism in the Center for Security Research, had a guest appearance on Alfa TV with his analysis of the currents events in the Middle East and parts of the Mediterranean. The explosion in Beirut, the resigning of the Lebanese government, the agreement between Israel and the UAE, the conflict between Greece and Turkey for the natural gas resources and where is Macedonia in this geopolitical framework?

A team from the Center for Security Research took part in the cyber simulation exercise Cy-Ex, organized by MeOut, in the period from 11th to 14th of November in Budapest. Delegation from the CSR, including the Director Aleksandar Nacev and the Deputy Director Jane Jancheski took part in the Warsaw Security Forum 2021, from 5-6th October 2021. During the Forum, the CSR representatives took active part in several discussions and panels, presenting their views. Also, several networking opportunities were used and the CSR was presented to potential foreign partners and institutions.

A delegation from the Center for security research had a working trip to Brussels, in the period from 7th to 11th of February 2022. During the visit, several meetings and discussions were held with representatives froom the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Defense Agency, the European Security and Defense College, and several members of European Parliament.
