Representatives from the Center for Security Research took part in the workshop “How to avoid the traps of propaganda?”, organized by Estima.
The workshop was focused on the subjects of use of disinformation and fake news, and how they can be (ab)used in geopolitical and security goals, and also about their influence from a journalistic perspective.
A delegation from the Center for security research had a working trip to Brussels, in the period from 7th to 11th of February 2022. During the visit, several meetings and discussions were held with representatives froom the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Defense Agency, the European Security and Defense College, and several members of European Parliament.
Today we held the workshop titled “The dangers of propaganda and disinformation in today’s world”. The event was organized in cooperation with the Sweden Alumni Network Western Balkans, and supported by the Swedish Institute.
The workshop brought together a significant number of participants, who took active part in the discussion, and who were representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations, other NGO’s, media, academia and representatives from other Swedish Alumni Networks, which gave the workshop an international signature.
The Director of the Center for security research, Aleksandar Nacev PhD, took part at the conference “NATO at 70”. Useful discussions and address from the German MOD Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.
