A team from the Center for Security Research took part in the cyber simulation exercise Cy-Ex, organized by MeOut, in the period from 11th to 14th of November in Budapest. The exercise included teams from all the Western Balkans and V4 countries. Our team, which was led by Director Nacev, had a great showing at the exercise, and the event was also used to strengthen our international cooperation with some of our partners who were present there.

Today, the CSR in cooperation with the martial arts club, The Strongest Aerodrom, held the seminar on private security (P-SEC1), which included close combat training, close protection training and air rifle shooting. Today we held the workshop titled “The dangers of propaganda and disinformation in today’s world”. The event was organized in cooperation with the Sweden Alumni Network Western Balkans, and supported by the Swedish Institute.
The workshop brought together a significant number of participants, who took active part in the discussion, and who were representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, international organizations, other NGO’s, media, academia and representatives from other Swedish Alumni Networks, which gave the workshop an international signature.

The Director of the Center for security research, Aleksandar Nacev PhD, had a lecture at the KYATA “Winter University for Security Studies”. The subject of the lecture were the new forms of information warfare, and the use of fake news and propaganda in the creation of strategic narratives.
