The Center for Security Research took part in the conference „Black Sea and Balkan Perspectives – A strategic region“, held in Rome and organized by our partners NATO College Foundation. The CSR was the only (governmental or NGO) organization from Macedonia to be invited to nominate participants/panelists for this prestigious conference
Our representative Mr. Rabie Sedrak, talked on the third panel, which was focusing on security threats from non-state actors.
The CSR organized the online event “The influence of COVID19 of the increase of cyber attacks”. The lecturers talked about the most frequently used tactics for cyber attacks, elaborated several examples and gave recommendations on how to protect ourselves online.
The Director of the Center for Security Research, Aleksandar Nacev PhD, had a guest appearance on the show „Click Plus“ on TV21, where he spoke about the crisis management and protection and rescue system in Macedonia, and the latest political developments which have some security implications.

Delegation from the CSR, including the Director Aleksandar Nacev and the Deputy Director Jane Jancheski took part in the Warsaw Security Forum 2021, from 5-6th October 2021. During the Forum, the CSR representatives took active part in several discussions and panels, presenting their views. Also, several networking opportunities were used and the CSR was presented to potential foreign partners and institutions.
