Representatives from the CSR took part in the public debate organized by the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Defence in the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia. The debate was focused on the new laws regulating the lawful interception of communication.  The Director of the CSR, Aleksandar Nacev PhD, voiced his remarks considering certain aspects of the law, especially the use of metadata, and the protection of the privacy of the citizens.

The Director of the CSR, Aleksandar Nacev PhD had a guest appearance in the show “Nesomneno” on Alfa TV, where he spoke about the new package of reform laws concerning the process of lawful interception, and the Law on the Operational Technical Agency, which is yet to be formed with the purpose to protect the lawful interception from malicious influence.

The Director of the CSR, Aleksandar Nacev PhD took part in the public debate organized by the European Movement for Macedonia. He was one of the keynote speakers on the subject of “Achieving bigger protection against illegal interception of communication”.
