Aleksandar Nacev PhD serves as the Executive Director of the CSR and also works as the Dean of the Faculty of Detectives and Criminalistics at the European University in Skopje. He holds a PhD degree in Security from the Institute for Security, Defense and Peace in Skopje. His previous work assignments include working as a diplomat in the Mission of the Republic of Macedonia to NATO HQ in Brussels and serving as the Director of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information of the Republic of Macedonia. His research interests include security, defense, information warfare, intelligence and counterintelligence. He is the author of three book and numerous scientific articles.
Jane Jancheski is the Deputy Executive Director of the Center for Security Research. His work is focused in the areas of corporate security, industrial espionage and gathering and analysis of open source intelligence. He is fluent in English.
Mitko Veljusliev PhD holds a doctoral degree in Security from the Institute for Security, Defense and Peace in Skopje. He works for the Macedonian Ministry of Defence. His research interests include security, defense, conflict resolution, peace research and international security organizations. He is the author of ee several scientific articles. He is fluent in English.
Oliver Risteski MA works as an Inspector in the Ministry of Interior. He got his Masters degree in the field of criminalistics and criminology at the Faculty of Security – Skopje. His working experience in the Ministry of Interior is dealing with modern security challenges. His scientific research is mainly focused in the fields of security, information security, cyber security, cybercrime and modern forms of unauthorized entering into a computer system. He is the author of several scientific articles. Actively uses English and French.
Martin Stojanovski MA is the External Relations and Cooperation Officer in the Center for Security Research. He has a background in managerial positio in several private companies, and is an expert in Media Relations, Communications and Corporate Relations. He is fluent in English.
Rabiè W. Sédrak joined the Center for Security Research as an independent researcher in September 2019. He serves as a special coordinator for the counterterrorism program at the CSR covering South Eastern Europe. His research interests include illegal immigration, terrorism and counterterrorism with an emphasis on al Qaeda and ISIS, radicalization, political Islam and European Security. Additionally, he is pursuing a professional program in security studies at Georgetown University. In 2013, Rabiè designed the Balkan Integration and Immigration Program (BIIP), a tool assisting South Eastern European countries to control and integrate the waves of immigration that hit Europe in 2011 following the Syrian civil war. Rabiè is a public speaker and appears frequently in the media.
 
Goran Videski served for more than 15 years in special forces in various positions and was deployed multiple times to combat theaters, for what he had been awarded the NATO Medal of Service by the NATO Secretary General. He has completed several high level courses in USA, China and several other countries and is an expert in counter terrorism, security, and close quarters battle. He is fluent in English.
Sasho Zahariev works as a security consultant in the MENA Region- Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libiya, for the world renowned companies such as GardaWorld and G4S. He is a former member of the Special forces of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, and during the period spent in the Special forces, he successfully completed the Basic and Advanced SF training, Airborne and Paratroopers training, small tactical unit warfare course etc. In 2005, he was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, with 72 combat tasks as part of the Special Task Force Eagle in Taji and has been awarded the Medal of recognition by the Defence Ministry and by the President of the Republic of Macedonia. After leaving the Army in 2007, he specializes in Risk and Corporate Management, VIP Close protection, exfil of VIP from combat areas. He has overall great knowledge of the culture and diversities in the MENA Region. He is fluent in English.
Blagoja Janakievski is an expert in the field of information security and digital forensics. He is currently working at the Directorate for Security of Classified Information of the Republic of Macedonia. His previous work assignments include working as a diplomat in the Mission of the Republic of Macedonia to the EU in Brussels. His research interests include security, ethical hacking, cyber terrorism and cyber espionage. He is fluent in English and has a good command of French.
Tamara Mitkovska is a student at the Institute of Security, Defense and Peace at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. She has professional interests in the field of national security, crisis management, terrorism and illegal migration. She speaks English and has a basic knowledge of German.
Darko Mircheski works at the Ministry of Justice, as a judicial police comander in the Basic Court in Prilep. He is a graduate from the Military Academy „Gen Mihailo Apostolski”, and is currently in the process of obtaining his masters degree in security from the Faculty of Detectives and Criminalistics, at the European University in Skopje. His professional and scientific research includes security, intelligence and crisis management. He is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Turkish.
Dejan Spasevski works at the Directorate for protection and rescue of the Republic od Macedonia. He is a graduate from the Military Academy „Gen Mihailo Apostolski”, and is currently in the process of obtaining his masters degree in security from the Institute for Security, Defense and Peace in Skopje. He has a 15 years of experience in the areas of protection and rescue, crisis management and protection of critical infrastrucure. He has participated in numerous national and international exercises in protection and rescue, but also in rescue operations, such as the earthquake in Albania. He is fluent in English.
